Gorgeous green lobe Sonerila with white spots.  It is a slower-growing lobe species but has not been as temperamental as some of the others in terms of leaf melt.  Does well growing potted/as a foreground plant, or mounted (provided it doesn’t get too dry).

The Lobe Sonerilas are a great group of plants for challenging your growing skills!  One issue a lot of folks, myself included, were having, is that freshly imported plants shipped bare root, and arrived in poor condition.  The plants available here are 1+ years old, grown from either stem or leaf cutting, and their root system fills up the pot. Having an established plant makes growing them a lot easier! This species likes low-medium light, ideally between 30-70FC (most commercial HO t5s are 100+ from 14″ away), and seems tolerant of temps ranging from 60-80.  Not many folks working with this group of plants, even less propagating them. Even in Borneo where it is native, most of the plants sold are wild-collected.

Available plants are well rooted in 2″ pots and will be shipped meticulously in their pots.  The last photo is representative of the plants available.
