There are 380 species of sphagnum moss described ~ not sure which this is! it is different than the ‘fluffy’ one listed on the shop, and has less distinct crowns and is much lower growing.  It seems to be symbiotically growing with an algae (?) that  I’ve only ever seen grow with sphagnum.

Live Sphagnum moss grown *indoors.* Sometimes dried sphagnum moss comes back to life!  This moss is originally from commercially available dried moss and I’ve been dividing it for a few years now and finally have enough to offer regularly. Being grown indoors, it is free of debris and acclimated to indoor growing conditions.
