This species is from the Lahad Datu District in the Dent Peninsula, Tawau Division in Sabah, Malaysia.  It is one of at least two species going around as ‘sp. Lahad Datu.’  The other one more closely resembles jiewhoei (it is not)- this one is totally different! It’s covered in spots and hairs.  The available plants are seed-grown and have been incredibly variable.  In the future I will cultivate the two most interesting-looking plants and distinguish them in the shop.  This species has a trailing habit of growth and would probably love a rock wall to amble up.

*some plants are more green, others are mostly pink* if you have a preference for which one, leave a note and I’ll send one that color if I have it.
