This species is native to Sumatra. It has been given the name ‘dongoranensis’ by Albert Dongoran, the individual who found it. It is not a formally described species. It has unique foliage, with a thick green edging and maroon centers, and round and angular leaves, with a slight point at the tip.

The last photo is representative of the plants available. They are well rooted and shipped meticulously in their pots.
