Aerangis seegeri

When this first flowered, I thought it was part of the sphagnum moss it was growing in, as it’s a very similar color.  The spike is quite large relative to the size of the plant, and produces an abundance of star-shaped blooms.  Leaves range from bright green to more of a mauve-green.  From IOS,

“Found in the eastern highlands of Madagascar as well as on the Ile Sainte Marie in coastal forests at elevations of sealevel to 1500 meters as a miniature sized, hot to cool growing epiphyte with a short stem carrying 2 to 4, arranged in a small fan in one plance, elliptic, apically bilobed, dark green, folded and almost petiolate based leaves that blooms in the fall on 1 to 3, axillary or arising below the leaves, pendant, 10″ [25 cm] long, 6 to 12 flowered inflorescence with star-shaped flowers.”

Available plants are very well rooted in 2″ pots.  The last picture is representative of the plants available.
