Rhodospatha sp. Silver

This pretty little Rhodospathas leaves only get about 2.5″ inches, and it seems to do best when climbing up a semi-vertical surface.  It will also grow up a totally vertical surface but so far mine hasn’t gotten as tall this way.  It has a shimmery texture and is rather slow-growing, and doesn’t like too much light.  It will get really pale and bleached out if kept in high light and is an excellent plant for the foreground of taller tanks where it’s more shaded.  The internode length varies, but is usually around 3″.  rhodospatha silver
