Codonanthe devosiana ‘Paula’

Codonanthe’s are found throughout South America.  They grow epiphytically in ants nests where the ants pollinate them.  This pretty species has reddish stems and thick, succulent like foliage.  A large plant can be everblooming.  It grows wonderfully in a hanging basket, even with little light, or in a terrarium, and will grow pendently down a background.  It is tolerant of a wide range of conditions and is a very easy keeper.
