This beautiful begonia was collected in Madagascar in 2009 by J. Duruisseau. Sadly as many Madagascan begonias seem to do, it just started withering away. I only have this one photograph.

This plant belongs (or belonged) to Chuck Nishihira, another contributor to the blog from 2015-2016. Interesting to read that it grows on granite!
