This habitat was right off a big road going through Santa Isabel, and we could hear the calling as we drove past. ย Chickens and dogs were all over, and we wondered if the chickens were eating the frogs. ย ย A small seepage area trickled through here, and some dense shrubs and scrub trees made up most of the plantlife. ย The ground was somewhat sandy, and on the side of a hill.
Here is the exact same location circa 1994, somehow miraculously able to sustain these frogs.
