Tillandsia sp. Phonelines

Trying to find our way to the road where Hylocirtus tapichalaca occurs, Chuck and I ended up staying in a small town further south from where we expected to end up, because the bridge there was closed for maintenance. There was a small central square, and the surrounding area was mountainous and cool. We did not end up finding H. tapichalaca; much of the the forest along the road between Yangala and Valladolid (where the type locality is from) had been cut down for a new road, but these Tillandsia covered phone lines in Malacatos offered their own charm.
