These animals were all found on various nights in Honduras. They are animals that I only came across once the entire time being there, except for the Craugaster which were abundant. The Bolitoglossa in this part of the country were mostly all seen in spiny palms, creviced between long needles and husk. A few were actually found balanced on a single spine. Someone miraculously brought a scale, and found a giant Bolitoglossa that turned out to be 41 gram if I remember correctly. Most were significantly smaller however, and very difficult to remove from the palms. All but a few retreated and were impossible to take out. The lizard was found by a fast moving stream in a clump of trees, close to where some glassfrogs were found later.
