High elevation in Cusuco

The forest up here was much less dense than lower down, with scrub looking plants comparatively.  We passed by a few enormous tangles; trees that had fallen and become so overgrown it was difficult to make out the original structure at all. The Gesneriad below was medium sized and very fuzzy, and grew in one of the dense balls of smaller plants.  In addition to more Gesneriads and rather giant ferns up here, there were also lots of Bromeliads.
