So it was a nice day in the fishroom. I have been trying to breed the rare lampeye Hypsopanchax aff. zebra, but most of the eggs have been infertile. I was only getting a few good ones each week. As the temperatures started to drop, I have been seeing a larger quantity of eggs as well as a greater percentage being fertile. I just like looking at developing eggs, and especially when they are of an elusive species. When I learn more, I will post again. For now, I thought it would be nice to share how pretty developing eggs can be.
